We know this is a big trip with a lot of logistics, so we’ve added some information below to answer questions you may have!
How do I get to Rhodes?
The easiest way to get to Rhodes is by flying into Rome or Athens, then taking a connecting flight to Rhodes.
If you’re comfortable, feel free to book your own flights. If you’d prefer some help, you can contact our trusted travel agent:

Do I need a visa to travel?
Most North American travellers only need a valid passport, no visa is typically required for visitors.
How long should I stay?
We’d love for you to join us for two weeks before the wedding, so we can soak up as much time together as possible. But we completely understand if that’s not doable. We do recommend spending at least 7 days in Rhodes so you can enjoy the celebrations and still have time to experience the island.
Guests coming from North America should plan for a full day of travel, including overnight flights and possible layovers along the way.
Where should I stay while I'm there?
From August 22nd to the 26th, we recommend staying in the following areas:
-Pefkos
-Lindos
-Plakia Beach
From August 26th-31st. we’d like to have everyone together at Rodos Palladium in Faliraki.
If you won’t be staying at this hotel, we strongly recommend staying in the Faliraki area.

What will the weather be like?
Rhodes in August is hot, sunny, and dry. Expect daytime highs around 29 °C (84 °F), warm evenings perfect for outdoor dinners, and almost no rain. The sea is a perfect 27 °C (81 °F) for swimming. Bring light clothing, plenty of sunscreen, and be ready for long, sun-filled days.
Is there a dress code?
We want you to be comfortable. For general guidelines, please see the ’’events’’ page of our wedding website.
Do I need cash in Rhodes?
Most places accept credit cards, but it’s handy to have euros for taxis for nights where you plan to drink, shopping, restaurants and excursions.
Do people speak English in Rhodes?
Yes, English is widely spoken, especially in tourist areas. A few Greek phrases will always bring a smile, though!
Are children welcome?
We’re delighted to welcome little ones to celebrate with us! Their energy and joy will make the day even more memorable, and we can’t wait to see everyone of all ages on the dance floor.
What time does the ceremony start?
6:30PM
Will transportation be provided to events?
Yes! Shuttle buses will run between a specified hotel and event venues. Details on pick-up times and locations will be shared closer to the date. Transportation will not be provided for all other day-to-day guest activities.
Are meals included outside the wedding events?
Meals will be provided during the Baptism, Welcome Party and Wedding Reception. Outside of that, Rhodes has amazing tavernas and restaurants, we’ve shared some of our local favorites on the ‘’About Rhodes’’ page!
What about dietary restrictions?
We’ll have allergen cards on the buffets, but if you’re unsure about any dish, please don’t hesitate to ask.
What else is there to do while I'm there?
Please refer to the “About Rhodes” page of our site to see a list of our favourite places to eat, drink, lounge by the beach (or pool) and venture off to discover new sights.
